- Loan Types for Every Stage - Loans available for undergrads, grad students, and parents
- No origination fees; no prepayment penalty*
Be a Smart Borrower
When it comes to paying for college, ACCESS Credit Union believes it's best to start with resources that don’t require repayment, like savings, scholarships, grants, and federal aid. If additional funding is needed, a private student loan may be an option, but it’s important to understand the long-term impact. Think about how repayment will fit into your future finances and career plans.
The loans available through ACCESS Credit Union are made by Sallie Mae Bank or its lending partners. We don’t fund these loans ourselves, but we may receive a referral fee from Sallie Mae® if you move forward with an application.
Basic Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be enrolled at an eligible institution
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident status
- A creditworthy cosigner may be required, depending on the applicant’s credit profile
