Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance with Selman

No matter how careful we are, unexpected illnesses or events can happen. These accidents not only lead to emotional turmoil, but also to financial burden. That’s why ACCESS Credit Union has teamed up with Selman Insurance to provide our members with Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage.

Through our partnership with Selman Insurance, you can receive an added layer of protection if a serious accident results in loss of life or a qualifying injury.

What AD&D Insurance Covers

AD&D insurance provides benefits if a covered accident directly results in:

  • Accidental Death- A benefit paid to your designated beneficiary if an accident is the direct cause of death.
  • Loss of Limb(s)- Coverage in the event of the loss of one or more limbs due to a qualifying accident.
  • Loss of Bodily Function(s)- Benefits for loss of hearing, vision, or speech resulting from a covered accident.
  • Paralysis or Immobility- Coverage if an accident causes partial or total paralysis.

This coverage is designed specifically for accident-related events and is separate from traditional life insurance.

AD&D Benefits Available to ACCESS Credit Union Members

As a member, you receive:

  • $1,000 of AD&D coverage at NO COST- Every eligible ACCESS member age 18 and older receives $1,000 in basic AD&D coverage.
