Avoiding Phone Scams

A Message From Our President and CEO, Steve Cordisco

Dear Member,

Fraud and scams are ramping up for the summer of 2026. ACCESS Credit Union Members are being targeted by scammers.

We have recently been made aware of an increase in fraudulent phone calls targeting individuals and asking them to confirm transactions on their debit or credit cards. These calls may appear legitimate, but they are attempts to collect your personal and financial information.

Please remember:

  • We will never contact you and ask for sensitive information such as your full card number, PIN, online banking credentials, or security codes.
  • Do not provide personal or financial information to unknown callers, even if they claim to represent our institution.
  • Be cautious of urgent or threatening language designed to pressure you into acting quickly.

If you receive a suspicious call, text, or email, do not respond or engage. Instead, contact us directly using the official phone number listed on our website or on the back of your card. Our team is here to help verify any concerns and ensure your account remains secure.

Your safety is our priority. Thank you for helping us keep your information protected.

Thank you for being a member of ACCESS Credit Union, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,
Stephen Cordisco, CEO
ACCESS Credit Union
